How did yoga come into my life?
Health challenges were the beginning of my journey into yoga. in 2014, I started practicing in small steps, searching for answers and discovered that yoga not only gives me a stronger body, but also inner peace. I tried different styles of yoga before finally choosing hatha yoga in my heart - a classic based on ancient sources.
Since then, yoga has become an integral part of my daily life. in 2019, I completed my first teacher qualification (200 hours) at the Patanjali International Yoga Foundation in Rishikesh, India, followed by a steady progression of advanced hatha yoga courses (300 hours, 2021 and 2024), ayurveda and yoga therapy training (200 hours, 2022). This year has been full of intensive practices - asanas, pranayama, meditation, yoga philosophy and anatomy.
Through yoga I have learned to know myself more deeply: at the beginning I was only concerned with my physical body, but over time I have realised that this practice opens up my inner world and helps me to connect with my being. Today, yoga is not just a movement, but a way of life.
in 2023, I immersed myself in Jyotish - Vedic astrology ("the light of the Vedas"). It revealed another important dimension: everyone's path is unique, and yoga can help to see that path more clearly.
Before discovering yoga, my path led me through medical and finance studies - I graduated in biomedical diagnostics (3 years) and finance from Kaunas University of Technology (5 years). But all paths still led to yoga.
Today, my goal is simple: to help people find self-confidence, body-mind harmony and inner peace. I am most happy when people leave the practice with a lighter heart and a smile on their face - that is my greatest inspiration to teach.
