
Susan Morgan, MSN, RN, CS is a psychotherapist based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, with a deep background in meditation and psychotherapy. She serves on the Advisory Board and faculty of the Institute for Meditation and Psychotherapy and is a contributing author to Mindfulness and Psychotherapy. Her personal practice has been shaped by extensive retreat experience, including a four-year meditation retreat at the Forest Refuge and annual three-month retreats.
For more than 25 years, Susan has led retreats for caregivers, bringing steadiness, insight, and compassion to those who support others. Since the pandemic, she and her partner Bill have facilitated The Daily Sit, a live daily online practice group offering short Dharma talks, guided meditations, and a sense of community tailored to everyday household life. Susan describes herself as a lay-monastic and views her path as a bridge between contemplative and secular worlds. Her teaching emphasizes bringing mindfulness into daily life, supported by lovingkindness and awareness of the body.
