Stephany holds a 200-hour certification in Ashtanga Vinyasa from Sampoorna Yoga and a 300H certification from Heart + Bones. Her yoga journey began at 17, first inspired by concerns about posture. While studying in Venezuela, she explored Hatha yoga, Yin Yoga, Acro Yoga, and Ashtanga under the guidance of local professors, but Vinyasa was the style that truly captured her attention. She practiced on and off for several years, then paused after moving to Uruguay. Missing the practice, she returned to yoga through a community that helped her deepen her Vinyasa work and later study the Ashtanga Mysore method with Laura de La Rosa Thompson.
Eager to share yoga, she completed her first teacher training in 2021 and began teaching at the end of 2022, continuing until the end of 2023 before relocating to Canada with her husband to explore new opportunities. In Uruguay, she received a scholarship at Heart + Bones and continues to refine her skills through a committed self-practice. Stephany is passionate about sustainable movement for all bodies and enjoys traveling, painting, animals, and long walks in nature.
