Sophanmai first met Yogeswari in 2008 while growing up in an orphanage center in Phnom Penh, an early connection that later helped shape her path. A few years after that meeting, she began her own yoga journey and went on to complete the 200-hour teacher training offered by AZAHAR in 2019. Today, she serves both as a receptionist and as a teacher at the AZAHAR Center in Phnom Penh.
For Sophanmai, yoga has brought greater meaning and purpose to her life. Through her teaching, she hopes to help students improve their overall quality of life while also contributing to a culture of peace in conflict and post-conflict societies.
