Sonia Peltzer
Description
Born in the French Alps and raised in the California Sierras, Sonia Peltzer has spent her life drawn to movement, nature, and meaningful connection. An AMGA Apprentice Rock Guide and experienced yoga teacher, she first completed her yoga and AcroYoga trainings in 2007, beginning a journey that continues to inspire her today.
Based in California, Sonia teaches locally and internationally, sharing her love of yoga, acrobatics, and Thai massage. She is also known for creating camping and climbing retreats in natural settings, where participants can reconnect with the outdoors while exploring strength, balance, and joy. These experiences reflect the practices that have shaped her own path and given her a sense of home, community, and purpose.
When she is not teaching, Sonia is likely to be found climbing a mountain, still following the same adventurous spirit that has guided her work for years.
