Sonia first discovered yoga at 18. After a few years of exploring different styles, she developed a deep passion for Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and has since devoted her life to studying yoga in all its expressions. In 2014, she left her career in International Development to begin teaching yoga. For Sonia, yoga is an embodied practice of self-inquiry and connection to the divine. She is inspired by its healing potential and its ability to become a deeply somatic experience. From the very beginning, yoga has felt therapeutic and transformative to her, gradually becoming a way of life. She feels grateful to have found such a grounding practice with endless possibilities for ecstatic experience, and she shares it with others to support our collective journey toward self-transformation and freedom.
