Sky Xue

Sky brings a rich background as a filmmaker, film educator, and community organizer, weaving creativity and purpose into every space he enters. He sees art not only as a form of expression, but also as a pathway into meditation, reflection, and meaningful social change.

Deeply inspired by Thích Nhất Hạnh’s Engaged Buddhism, Sky is committed to practices that connect inner awareness with compassionate action. His work is rooted in a strong dedication to liberation and solidarity, especially alongside BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities.

Alongside his professional and spiritual pursuits, Sky brings a playful, human energy to life. He loves dancing when no one is watching and creating music with friends in Joshua Tree, adding joy and spontaneity to the depth of his practice.
