Description
I discovered yoga in my high school days, when my physical education teacher used to teach classes that resembled yoga. I have always been fascinated by movement and its effects, so it wasn't hard to decide what I wanted to do in the future. I enrolled and graduated from VPU with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, while at the same time playing professional sports and being a member of the Lithuanian Junior National Biathlon Team. After obtaining my bachelor's degree, I continued my studies and obtained a Master's degree in sport.
Although yoga has been my love from the very first experience, I have
i have tried and taught different types of movement and body training in my life -
Pilates, PortDeBras and others.
I have presented my classes many times in various
sports conventions, events, and trainings abroad and in Lithuania.
During more than 15 years of working in various sports clubs in Vilnius
clubs I have gained experience working with different people, seen and understood
the effects of different sports and fitness practices on their bodies. This experience
has helped me to understand even more what a special effect it has on the body and mind, namely,
yoga.
Although I was already familiar with yoga, in 2014, for the first time
i went to India for the first time. This trip changed everything. I realised that being
India, regular practice and learning from experienced teachers not only
knowledge, but also a profound transformation of consciousness. It was in India that I learned about Ashtanga
yoga and its tradition. It inspired me the most. The teachers I met there changed
my attitude towards yoga - it became not only a physical practice, but also a part of my life.
From 2014 until now, I have returned to India every year to deepen my
knowledge, gaining inner strength and energy. These trips not only give me
new skills, but also inspire me to share them with others. What I learnt in India
experience in India allows me to authentically convey the knowledge and essence of yoga to my students.
in 2018, another new discovery for me was Contortion.
it is a class for adults that
strengthens and trains the body and allows you to enjoy incredible results.
It's important to me that my classes make people feel
to feel free and not afraid to try and make mistakes. My goal is to make it simple and understandable
to share my knowledge in a simple and understandable way and to create a collaborative relationship with everyone. I enjoy
to see not only the physical changes, but also the inner changes in people - their growth,
relaxation and discovery.
I am grateful to the teachers I have met who have given me
i am grateful that I can share this journey with others and observe,
how yoga helps me to discover not only a strong body but also inner peace.
