Born in the village of Bhadurpur near Hastinapur, India, Charat has been immersed in the traditional practice of yoga since the age of seven. His path follows a classical lineage inspired by the works of his Grand Guruji, Swami Yogeshwaranand Saraswati, author of Science of Soul. In early childhood, he met his Guru, Shri Rajpal Yogacharya, and these formative experiences shaped the depth and authenticity of his teaching.
Since 1999, Charat has been teaching yoga in India and later expanded his work internationally, sharing pure yoga in Singapore and Shanghai for more than a decade, as well as in cities across Asia, Europe, Australia, and Canada. He has led numerous retreats and workshops in many countries, offering his knowledge of yoga philosophy, including Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, the Bhagavad Gita, and the Upanishads, along with pranayama and meditation. His classes are known for inspiring students toward a deeper and more meaningful yoga practice.
As a devoted yoga practitioner, Charat weaves the spiritual, philosophical, and moral dimensions of yoga into every session. His teaching style is engaging, educational, and adapted to the needs of his students. He holds a graduation in physiotherapy, as well as a Master’s degree and PhD in yoga.
