
Sheela Bringi (she/her) is a sacred music artist and educator whose work weaves together North Indian classical, devotional, and Western musical traditions. Known for her radiant sound, she brings a deeply moving presence to every performance, blending rāga harp, harmonium, bansuri, and Hindustani-influenced vocals into an atmosphere that feels both expansive and intimate.
Raised in Colorado by her South Indian parents, who were also her first teachers, Sheela developed her musical path through a rich cultural lineage. She later studied with renowned masters G.S. Sachdev and Aashish Khan, and continues her Hindustani vocal training with Sri Subhashish Mukhopadyay. Her acclaimed mantra albums, Shakti Sutra and Incantations, have been featured by NBC News, NPR, and PRI, reflecting the wide resonance of her work.
