Shawn Stephens is a respected voice within the KSMOL Faculty and serves as Co-Director of the Alliance for A Viable Future. A member of the Stockbridge Munsee Band of Mohicans, Shawn brings a deeply rooted perspective shaped by cultural responsibility, lived experience, and a commitment to preserving living traditions.

As a musician, storyteller, and language keeper, Shawn weaves together sound, narrative, and heritage in a way that invites reflection and connection.
