With a practice that began 16 years ago as a way to support physical fitness, Shannon Hillenmeyer has since grown into a teacher who brings both strength and sincerity to every class. After completing her teacher training in 2009, she developed a style that blends vigorous vinyasa with an atmosphere of warmth and acceptance, creating sessions that are both energizing and welcoming.
Shannon’s background also includes a Master of Social Work from the University of Chicago, earned in 2012, which adds depth to the compassionate presence she offers as a teacher. In 2017, she moved to Nashville with her husband, Hunter, and their three daughters. Students can expect a grounded, uplifting practice that encourages effort, openness, and connection.
