Shannon Chalmers

Founder, teacher, and owner of Denver Yoga Social, Shannon created the brand with a clear mission: to bring yoga directly into the community. By partnering with local businesses, she offers more than a class — she creates an experience where people can connect, meet new friends, and come together through shared wellness. Her background in ballet and contemporary dance shapes her teaching style, and in 2016 she completed her first RYT teacher training. Since then, she has taught in Boston, Milwaukee, and Denver.

Shannon believes every body is a yoga body. Her classes are upbeat, welcoming, and accessible for beginners, while still offering options that can challenge more experienced practitioners. Whether you are brand new to yoga or have practiced for years, expect to smile, laugh, and maybe even dance a little along the way.
