Professor of philosophy and master of herbal medicine, Sergio Henao brings together academic insight and ancestral wisdom in a way that offers a profound perspective on healing and the human experience. Within our community, he is recognized for his extraordinary understanding of nature’s restorative power and for the depth of his teachings.

For more than 15 years, Sergio has devoted himself to working with Ayahuasca, a sacred herbal medicine honored by indigenous communities in South America. His knowledge was personally entrusted to him by Taita Mama Concha, a respected healer of the Kamentsa Biyá tribe. Under her guidance, he learned to approach this powerful medicine with care, reverence, and responsibility.

Known for his quiet humility and gentle presence, Sergio embodies the values he shares with others. He believes that true healing begins by meeting the shaman within one’s own soul. Rather than searching endlessly outside ourselves, he encourages people to turn inward and discover clarity, peace, and meaning from within.
