
Sean Chiddy is a psychotherapist who offers integration support to guests both before their retreat and after they return home. He has also facilitated retreats at Soltara and specializes in blending applied mindfulness with other psychological approaches, helping people move through the medicine space with confidence and make the most of their experiences.
With a long-standing dedication to healing and wellbeing, Sean trained and registered as a Psychologist in Australia before qualifying as a Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapist in the UK. He has supported people dealing with a range of common mental health concerns, including depression, trauma (PTSD), and various mood and anxiety disorders. He was recognized as a top-performing therapist at one of the largest treatment providers in the UK health system and is known for his compassionate, grounded approach.
Sean began working with ayahuasca and other plant medicines in 2011. In 2015, he moved to Peru, where he joined the integration team at one of the country’s most respected ayahuasca centers and facilitated a successful workshop series called Mindfulness and the Medicine. While in Peru, he also began dieting with Shipibo maestros and continues to be inspired by the depth and potential of this plant medicine tradition. He joined Soltara in 2019, drawn by the opportunity to work with the world-class team being assembled.
