Sascha’s journey with ayahuasca began in 2004, when his first experience with the medicine opened a path of healing from childhood trauma and a deeper search for meaning. In the years that followed, his bond with the Shipibo tradition evolved beyond personal recovery into a true calling. He joined the Temple team in 2011 and spent six years learning and growing within the community before moving on to other projects. In 2025, that calling drew him back.
Today, Sascha serves as both facilitator and operations manager, working quietly behind the scenes to help each retreat unfold with care, precision, and integrity. At the same time, he offers guests a steady and compassionate presence throughout their healing process. Having walked his own path through darkness toward healing, he understands what it means to be supported in a safe and trustworthy space. With more than two decades of experience in plant-spirit medicine, he brings lived wisdom to every ceremony and every person he has the privilege to serve.
