Sarvottam Kumar is a meditation, philosophy, and sound healing teacher with Salamba Yoga. Born and raised in Maharashtra, he completed a Bachelor’s degree in sociology before following a deeper calling toward contemplative practice and spiritual study. His path led him to a range of ashrams, where he explored different meditation approaches and refined his understanding of traditional methodologies.
After seven years in the travel industry, Sarvottam chose to dedicate himself fully to sharing what he had learned. He spent two years teaching philosophy and meditation techniques in Canada, offering students a thoughtful and accessible introduction to inner practice. His teaching is grounded in the belief that true meditation begins with an open heart, one that can move beyond the hesitations of the conditioned mind.
Known warmly by his students as “BABA,” a term meaning ascetic, Sarvottam brings wisdom, sincerity, and calm presence to every session. His work invites practitioners to slow down, listen inward, and connect more deeply with themselves through meditation and sound healing.
