I’ve always been drawn to movement, animals, and the joy of sharing what inspires me with others.
At art school, alongside sculpture, I became fascinated by human anatomy, took my first yoga classes, and discovered Capoeira. It was a wonderful time: art school during the day, Capoeira at night.
I qualified as a Pilates teacher in 2006, and in 2011 I also became a Hendrickson Method® massage therapist. I love supporting people in understanding and enjoying their bodies so they can do what they love without pain.
Since 2013, I have been a Restorative Exercise Specialist certified by Nutritious Movement™. Learning with Katy Bowman has opened up powerful new ways to help people help themselves, and that remains one of the most exciting and deeply rewarding parts of my work.
Kalikalos, especially the Anilio campus, is full of inspiration for natural movement, surrounded by the stunning beauty of the Greek mountain forest and sky, the old pathways leading down to the welcoming sea, and the warm community spirit woven into daily life. I’m half Greek, and although I currently live in California, I’ve spent much of my life in Greece and love it like home.
