Adventure is at the heart of Sam Shelley’s story. In 1993, she first began teaching “Scrambling and Dangling” as a self-appointed fear facilitator, setting the tone for a career built on courage, curiosity, and plenty of humour. Since then, she has climbed El Capitan in Yosemite Valley, worked as a mountaineer in Antarctica, the Arctic, Thailand, New Zealand, and America, and most recently ran a climbing school in Mallorca.
Along the way, Sam has collected more than a few unforgettable experiences, from teaching Ivanka Trump to mud wrestle to being bitten by a fur seal. Now she looks forward to returning to her spiritual home and swimming in Atsitsa Bay, where her adventures first began.
