
Sally Albert has spent nearly 30 years studying with Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche and Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche, bringing a long-standing depth of practice to her teaching. At the Kootenay Shambhala Centre, she serves as both a meditation instructor and teacher, as well as the Shambhala Training Resident Director.
Her work reflects a steady commitment to mindfulness, community, and lived practice, offering a grounded presence for those exploring meditation and the Shambhala path. Beyond her teaching role, Sally enjoys life on rural land, tending her garden, and spending time with her beloved grandchildren—simple joys that mirror the balance and warmth she brings to her work.
