Ruth Everingham first encountered Khenpo-la in 2006, when she volunteered to assist with Buddhist scripture at Milton Public School. From that moment, she was drawn to his gentle, humble, and supportive teaching style. When the inaugural ABPC was offered, Ruth embraced the opportunity to join as a student, and under Khenpo-la’s guidance her understanding and love of the dharma grew steadily deeper.
Now stepping into the role of mentor for this next course, Ruth brings both gratitude and experience to the journey. She was inspired by the care and commitment her own mentor brought to the group, and she hopes to offer the same thoughtful support to others. A mother of three beautiful girls, Ruth has spent more than 30 years working in health, including extensive one-on-one and group wellbeing mentorship for NSW Health staff.
