Russell Rigler

As Head Ornamental Gardener at 42 Acres, Russell Rigler shapes and cares for the landscapes that help create a calm, inspiring atmosphere for every visit. His work is centered on making the grounds both beautiful and purposeful, offering spaces where guests can slow down, reflect, and reconnect with themselves and the natural world.

With a thoughtful approach to planting, Russell uses gardens to evoke emotion, support wildlife, and reveal the hidden potential of edible plants growing all around us. His spaces invite people to broaden their understanding of food, notice the richness of their surroundings, and experience nature in a more meaningful way. Through his stewardship, the garden becomes more than a setting — it becomes part of the experience itself.
