His journey began at the age of eleven, when he first encountered Shipibo medicine in ceremony, and it has since evolved through years of deep study, discipline, and lived immersion.
Ruben spent around seven years living in a native community in the Peruvian Amazon, where he developed a close relationship with Shipibo healing traditions. This long-term connection continues to shape the way he works today, with a strong emphasis on integrity, cultural respect, and careful stewardship of ancestral knowledge.
