Ron Siegel, PsyD

Dr. Ronald D. Siegel brings a rare blend of academic expertise, clinical insight, and mindfulness-based teaching to his work. He serves as Assistant Professor of Psychology, part time, at Harvard Medical School and is a member of the Board of Directors and faculty at the Institute for Meditation and Psychotherapy. His extensive body of work includes The Extraordinary Gift of Being Ordinary: Finding Happiness Right Where You Are, The Mindfulness Solution: Everyday Practices for Everyday Problems, and coauthorship of Sitting Together: Essential Skills for Mindfulness-Based Psychotherapy and Back Sense.

He is also coeditor of Mindfulness and Psychotherapy and Wisdom and Compassion in Psychotherapy: Deepening Mindfulness in Clinical Practice, and teaches The Science of Mindfulness: A Research-Based Path to Well-Being produced by The Great Courses. Known for making mindfulness practical, accessible, and deeply relevant to everyday life, Dr. Siegel offers a grounded perspective shaped by both research and real-world application. He is also a regular
