
Roberta Wall is a senior student and ordained member of Thich Nhat Hanh’s Order of Interbeing, as well as a certified Nonviolent Communication trainer, writer, and teacher of Torah as a wisdom teaching for universal peace and justice. Her work is rooted in more than two decades of deep engagement with Jewish learning and practice in the US and Israel, which she shares through Torah at the Intersection, her weekly blog weaving together Buddhism, Judaism, and Nonviolent Communication (NVC).
For over 20 years, she has led Jewish and Buddhist mindfulness retreats and practices, along with NVC mindfulness sessions, in a wide range of settings including Jewish, Buddhist, Palestinian, and other communities, as well as schools, war zones, leadership trainings, and organizations around the world. She has also supported peacemaking and NVC communities in Palestine and Israel for more than 15 years, bringing a grounded and compassionate presence to dialogue, healing, and justice-centered practice.
