Rob Hess

Rob is among California’s most seasoned and joy-infused Prana Flow teachers. His classes unfold in soft, wave-like rhythms, blending deep, satisfying asana with generous space for restorative, therapeutic, and meditative practice. At the heart of it all is the heart itself.

He first approached yoga through its physical dimension, but years of devoted study gradually turned his attention inward. Today, it is the spiritual nourishment of practice that shapes his teaching. Rob found his place in the Prana Flow community through his teacher, Shiva Rea, and has supported her in workshops and trainings throughout the U.S.

Grounded in Prana Flow, his teaching also weaves in classical yoga, Bhakti, Tantra, and Ayurveda, presenting yoga as a living, breathing flow of awareness. His classes are warm, playful, and clearly guided, encouraging students to savor the path instead of hurrying toward the outcome.

Supported by his own daily sadhana, Rob understands how practice can release both body and mind from self-imposed limits. His intention is simple and deeply personal: to help you connect with your own truth and live from it with confidence.
