Riot Mueller is a second-generation queer lesbian artist, hospital chaplain, and UMC provisional pastor, originally from Seattle, WA. Currently pursuing an M. Div. at Union Theological Seminary, Riot’s path is shaped by the legacy of James Cone and Dietrich Bonhoeffer, as well as a deep grounding in 12-step spirituality.
With an Enneagram 7 spirit, Riot brings warmth, curiosity, and a genuine love of connection to every space they enter. They enjoy being close to others, laughing, listening, singing, and creating moments that feel open and alive. Their background also includes hosting The Moth StorySlam in New Orleans, LA, and directing live queer, site-specific, immersive punk theater pieces.
Whether in conversation, spiritual care, or creative collaboration, Riot offers a presence that is thoughtful, playful, and deeply human.
