Richard Wade Willis brings a grounded, compassionate approach to supporting people navigating addiction and psychological suffering. Drawing on Compassionate Inquiry and traditional healing modalities, he helps clients move toward greater freedom, balance, and well-being. His work is rooted in lived experience, shaped by a personal path of healing and awakening.
His path with plant medicines began in the Peruvian Amazon in 2013, following recovery from many years of severe addiction. That experience opened a profound doorway into healing and changed the direction of his life. A deepening commitment to plant dieta with Ayahuasca, and to the wider healing intelligence of spirit medicine, expanded further when he began apprenticing with Don Agustin Machacca Florez of Q'eros Nation in 2016. His understanding of psycho-spiritual integration has also been enriched through ongoing study with Jennifer Welwood and Dr. Gabor Mate. More recently, he has entered a long-term initiatory path with the Lakota people and the Sundance.
Each year, he offers courses in dreamwork and Peruvian Shamanism, concluding with an in-person group journey to the high mountains of Peru. His private practice welcomes those seeking honest reflection and thoughtful guidance from an experienced practitioner.
