Richard Masla is a dedicated yoga teacher and Ayurvedic educator with decades of experience guiding others toward healthier living. In 2001, he founded the Ayurveda Health Retreat, creating a space where people could explore wellness through the wisdom of Ayurveda. Since then, he has supported thousands of individuals on their journey toward balance, vitality, and a more conscious way of life.
His path began early: at just 17, he started studying yoga and Ayurveda, and by age 20 he had traveled to India with his spiritual teacher, Swami Prabhupada. He later deepened his training with Dr. Vasant Lad at the Ayurvedic Institute in New Mexico and has visited India more than 40 times, continually enriching his understanding of these traditions.
Richard also graduated from Clayton College in 1994 with a Doctor of Naturopathy degree, bringing together a broad foundation of holistic knowledge in his teaching and educational work.
