With more than 20 years of experience working with the human body, Richard brings a deeply informed and holistic approach to healing. He believes that meaningful change begins with a shift in physical, emotional, or energetic understanding, and this perspective shapes the way he supports each client. His academic path started at Arizona State University, where he earned a degree in exercise physiology, before continuing to Hawaii for a Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
After becoming licensed in acupuncture, Richard traveled to China to work in a TCM hospital, study, travel, and teach yoga. Returning home, he developed a strong interest in structural integration and the work of Ida Rolf, eventually becoming certified in Anatomy Trains Structural Integration and earning an advanced certificate in Zenbodytherapy. Over the past 12 years, he has worked privately with clients and in clinics and healing centers across the US, Asia, and Europe, bringing a broad international perspective to his practice.
