Description
Merrithew Pilates teacher
I studied business and management at Vytautas Magnus University and Vilnius University. In my youth I played table tennis professionally and attended various dance classes (ballet, modern, folk dance). I became interested in Pilates while living and working in Italy, where I stood on a reformer for the first time and realised that it was one of my favourite machines. I have been doing Pilates personally for more than 15 years now - I have attended classes with renowned Pilates teachers in Lithuania, Poland, Italy and Sweden.
in 2020 I started training with the Merrithew Pilates School programme. in 2022 I qualified as a Matworks and Reformer Pilates trainer. I particularly enjoy studying anatomy - I'm looking into which muscles are responsible for certain movements and which exercises help strengthen them.
I really enjoy interacting with people. I admire when sport can improve not only well-being, but also boost a person's self-confidence and uplift their mood. I spend a lot of time in nature - I like to watch the changing seasons while walking. I relax most of all in the fresh air, seeing the perfect colours of nature and listening to the birds chirping, the trees rustling and the sea waves crashing.
