
Ramai Boschma brings a truly memorable culinary presence to our retreats, turning every meal into part of the overall experience. After 15 years in Amsterdam’s food scene, he chose to follow his own path, beginning as a freelance chef and later developing a sustainable food truck concept before dedicating his work to cooking for retreats.
His cuisine is shaped by Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavors, with a thoughtful approach to familiar dishes. Ramai reimagines classic recipes in a fully plant-based way, creating meals that are lighter, easier to digest, and still full of depth and flavor. Sustainability is central to his work, and he prefers seasonal, locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. Guided by mindfulness and respect for the ingredients he uses, he creates dishes that nourish both body and mind. He especially values working at Set & Setting retreats, where he has the freedom to express his personal culinary style in an intuitive, creative, and inspiring atmosphere.
