The spiritual home on the banks of the Sawah Baths has always been a place for returning inward. Rainer Grenkowitz, who led Bali Mandala for many years with his committed team, saw this path as an invitation to come closer to one’s own essence. In March 2024, Rainer passed away, yet his legacy continues. Out of deep devotion to his visionary intentions, the team now carries responsibility under the loving guidance of Maggie Elias. They honor Rainer’s spirit and continue the retreats exactly as he wished. For participants, this means the authentic atmosphere he created remains a safe space. Whether through gentle yoga practices, meditative sessions, or inspiring conversations, the message “Come home to yourself” still resonates. It is a conscious choice to preserve the tradition in faithful memory of Rainer and to give new energies the chance to continue the journey of self-discovery.
