Born on June 4, 2002, in the native community of Libertad, Raimundo brings both discipline and warmth to his role at Arkana. At 19, he joined the Peruvian Army, where he developed a strong sense of commitment and the habit of giving his full effort to everything he values.
His path into plant medicine grew from meeting people from many different backgrounds. As his English improved, so did his understanding of the deep healing this work can offer, both through witnessing others and through his own experience of transformation. That personal healing inspired him to support others on their journeys.
At Arkana, Raimundo has continued to evolve through powerful personal experiences, including a life-changing ceremony that brought him face to face with his inner darkness. Though difficult, it gave him greater clarity and strength. With guidance from José, Arkana’s owner, he learned to meet life with simplicity and focus.
As a facilitator, Raimundo offers grounding presence and support to guests throughout their plant medicine journey. For him, Arkana is more than a workplace; it is a home filled with love, connection, and a shared commitment to healing and growth.
