Yoga teacher. Raechel’s path with yoga began more than 20 years ago, first inspired by the movement itself and soon deepened by its ability to calm the mind and open the heart. What began as a way to move the body has grown into a lifelong practice of presence, study, and connection, woven into every class she leads.
Over 16 years of teaching have been shaped by diverse lineages and inspiring teachers, from the creative energy of Laughing Lotus New York to foundational training in Bikram, as well as embodied study within the Scaravelli tradition and meditation teachings. Raechel continues to learn from mentor and respected teacher Lara Dwyer (Sukha Yoga) and from Debby Badger through Vedic Mantra.
Vedic Chanting in the lineage of Krishnamacharya is a traditional approach to yoga as a philosophy for physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health, and Raechel shares this in her teachings. She is deeply grateful to each mentor for their guidance and living embodiment of yoga, and their influence flows through every class she offers.
At Equilibrium, Raechel blends mindful movement, philosophy, breath, and stillness, creating a space that supports inner balance and expressive freedom. Her classes invite individual exploration through dynamic flows, restorative pauses, and quiet connection to self and community.
Outside the studio, Raechel is nourished by her home practice, time in nature, a mild obsession with biking and adventure, and her dog and best friend, Cosmo. She sees community as a source of joy and connection, and believes yoga is both a sanctuary and a celebration.
