Pippa Whyte recently made Alice Springs her home after spending eight months in Yulara, in the Central Desert. With 25 years of experience working as a psychologist, she brings a grounded, compassionate presence to her teaching and mentoring. After attending many retreats, Pippa felt called to enrol in the three-year Autumn Buddhist Philosophy Course, a journey she describes as deeply enriching and full of practical tools for everyday life under the guidance of Khenpo.
She speaks openly about the humility and openness that continue to shape her path, sharing that the more she learns, the more she feels she is returning to a beginner mind. Her practice is rooted in simplicity, authenticity, and the intention to cultivate love, grace, and gratitude. For Pippa, Buddhism and this three-year course have offered a beautiful foundation, blending wisdom with clear, usable guidance. As a mentor, she aims to create a welcoming space where others can connect with these teachings, tools, and community, planting seeds for a better life for all.
