Phil Saatchi is a musician, singer, writer, and music producer.
Formerly a journalist and care worker, he won the John Lennon Song Writing Competition, was previously signed as a solo artist to A&M Records, and toured Europe with Joan Armatrading and Level 42.
Based in Sussex, England, he runs a recording studio where he supports emerging singer-songwriters in bringing out the best in their songs, while continuing to write and record his own music.
He also works with singers who do not play instruments, including those with only the beginnings of an idea or even a lyric, helping shape those ideas into finished songs.
Phil has collaborated with members of Roxy Music, is a Goldsmiths University Music Workshop Skills graduate, and leads sing-alongs for older adults as well as vocal, percussion, guitar, and songwriting workshops for children and adults.
