
Paul Mend brings a rare blend of education, coaching, and personal development experience to his work as a Mastery Advisor at Growth-U, where he has served for the past four years. He is mBIT Certified and draws on a distinguished 30-year high school teaching career, including 14 years teaching Psychology 12, the school’s most popular elective. During his first 16 years in education, he worked in the gym as Athletic Director, PE Department Head, and Leadership Teacher.
Alongside his teaching background, Paul has spent more than 48 years coaching at a high level across college, provincial teams, high school, junior high, middle school, elementary, and club settings. He also continues to compete as a Masters athlete in the 60+ category, reflecting the same commitment and resilience he encourages in others. Outside his professional life, Paul has shared 37 years with the love of his life, Denise, and is a proud father of two grown children and grandfather to one grandson.
