Olga has been practicing yoga since 2005, when her interest in the spiritual side of the practice led her to explore asanas through Baptist-style vinyasa. Yoga remained a central part of her everyday life until 2018, when a metastatic cancer diagnosis was followed by progressive bone damage and a significant loss of mobility. Living with pain and undergoing intensive long-term treatment opened a new path for her, one that deepened the non-physical foundations of yoga: meditation, discipline, and breathing techniques.
Three years later, the cancer was gone, but her body was still noticeably misaligned and affected by severe muscle tightness. Traditional yoga asanas were not yet accessible. In her search for a way to restore healthy movement, Olga discovered Pilates through an extraordinary teacher who saw not limitations, but potential. Through consistent Pilates practice, along with the teacher’s knowledge and inspiration, her body returned to its pre-illness level of strength. That remarkable recovery inspired Olga to study Pilates-based exercise, therapeutic movement, and the role of breath in overall health. She later earned a Mat Pilates certification.
Her teaching philosophy is grounded in the idea of the physical body as an interconnected, intelligent system. Her classes emphasize low impact, high awareness, breath connection, and an invitation to stay curious and have fun.
