Description

About Noel Zant

As Program Director, Noel, also known as “Ranger Zant,” leads the development and delivery of NWDC’s youth and community programs, including Earth Studies and the organization’s day and summer camps. A Pueblo native, she grew up spending much of her free time outdoors, which helped shape her lasting love of nature and the natural world. Today, she enjoys inspiring others to explore the outdoors and discover its many wonders for themselves.

Noel earned a bachelor’s degree in Fish, Wildlife and Conservation Biology from Colorado State University Fort Collins and brings valuable experience from her work with Colorado Parks and Wildlife and the Pueblo Zoo. When she is not wandering through the pines of the Mountain Campus or trekking across the prairie at the River Campus, she keeps busy at home with her husband, twin boys, two dogs, eight chickens, two ducks, and one turtle.
