Nicol Fiso comes from Ramotswa, a small village in Botswana. He brings a grounded, curious, and open presence to his work.
He completed his 200-hour YTT with Yoga Flame in 2018 and has since been mentored by GV’s Ryan Mannix, as well as The Open Space for yin yoga. With a strong interest in arm balancing, he has attended numerous workshops to deepen both his teaching and personal practice.
Nicol aims to offer a safe space where students can explore shapes, move with breath, and leave feeling inspired, lightly sweaty, and full. His classes blend nurturing support with challenge, guided by mindful movement, thoughtful sequencing, and touches of inspiration and motivation. Sequences are designed for all levels, including more experienced yogis who love handstands. He also brings presence into the room and connects through laughter, a little reiki, and mindful adjustments.
For Nicol, a perfect day includes time with loved ones, a bit of adrenaline, moments in nature with warm sun on his skin, a full belly, a good book, and some self-growth through a workout, yoga, or meditation. And, of course, coffee to begin the day.
