Nayaswami Jyotish serves as a spiritual director of Ananda Sangha Worldwide and is the spiritual successor of Swami Kriyananda. He first met Swami Kriyananda in 1966, and Nayaswami Devi in 1969, beginning a lifelong collaboration that helped shape Ananda’s work across the globe.
Alongside Nayaswami Devi, he travels throughout the United States, India, and Europe, sharing talks on Kriya Yoga meditation and on bringing spiritual awareness into everyday life. Their teachings offer a thoughtful blend of inspiration and practical guidance, inviting listeners to deepen their inner practice while living with greater purpose and clarity.
Both together and individually, they have written and edited several books, contributing to the wider sharing of these teachings with students around the world.
