Nathan’s interest in Buddhism began in his teenage years. After experiencing significant loss in early adulthood, he sought out a Buddhist teacher and met Khenpo-la in 2003, when he was teaching in Strathfield, Sydney. Over the following years, Nathan was fortunate to receive regular teachings from Khenpo-la, and the guidance on The Way of the Bodhisattva — especially patience, compassion, and bodhicitta — proved deeply transformative.
Although work, a young family, and building a business led to less regular contact for a time, Nathan feels grateful to be more actively connected again through the first Autumn Buddhist Philosophy course. He is delighted to support the ongoing offering of authentic, comprehensive dharma through this new course. Nathan lives in the Southern Highlands with his partner and two children. He works as a health practitioner and values the dharma as an essential support in both his professional and family life.
