
Narayan Liebenson serves as a Guiding Teacher at the Cambridge Insight Meditation Center, where she has been teaching since the center first opened in 1985. She is also a Guiding Teacher at the Insight Meditation Society in Barre, Massachusetts, bringing decades of experience to her teaching and practice. Her background includes more than 35 years in the Theravada tradition, along with 10 years of study in Chan with the late Master Sheng-yen. Narayan is the author of Life as Meditation and The Magnanimous Heart: Compassion and Love, Loss and Grief, Joy and Liberation. Known for her depth, warmth, and clarity, she shares the Buddha’s teachings with a strong sense of gratitude and dedication, offering guidance to all who are interested in meditation and awakening.
