"The earth has music — for those who listen." – Shakespeare
My inner world is a dancer. Yoga first touched my life in the 1990s, when I was training in Egyptian dance. Those years taught me softness and humility. Since 1991, I have been teaching dance and yoga, and in 2001 I founded my own school, "La Luna – embodied arts."
I discovered my dancing heart through the Tamalpa Life/Art Process. There, art, movement, and poetry meet in a living exchange, continually opening new ways to celebrate life.
My yoga style is wild, creative, and unconventional. It is grounded in Hatha-Vinyasa flow and Yin yoga, with many elements woven into each class so that every session becomes its own dance. I live and teach in harmony with nature, the changing seasons, the rhythms of the moon, and the unique energy of each place where I teach.
As a Pilates instructor trained through Body Arts and Science International, and as a faculty member who also trains Pilates teachers, I bring a strong knowledge of anatomy into my yoga classes. I love to sing, and with my singing bowls and drum, I create a special atmosphere when I teach.
I am trained in shamanic healing and ritual work. Everything flows, and everything is connected to everything else — this is the intention I bring to my teaching.
When I am not traveling, I teach in Kelkheim/Taunus.
