Scholar and teacher, Khen Rinpoche is among the younger brothers of Tulku Sangak Rinpoche and belongs to the Namchak family, descendants of the great treasure revealer Tsasum Lingpa from nearly three centuries ago. His lineage carries a deep spiritual heritage that continues to inspire practitioners today.
Over the years, he has taught at the nunnery and at the Purbaling retreat centers in Nepal, guiding students through a full progression of practice. His teachings have included the Preliminary Practices, the generation stage, the completion stage, and Tsalung, offering a structured path for those seeking both study and direct experience.
With a balance of scholarship and practical instruction, Khen Rinpoche’s presence supports a thoughtful, grounded approach to retreat life and inner development.
