Born in Trang, Mr. Nimit Kaewpoung began his culinary career in Phuket at just 21 years old. He went on to build more than a decade of experience at the Marina Hotel in Karon Beach, where he developed both a deep commitment to personal growth and a strong passion for culinary discovery. Known as Chef Mit, he has earned recognition for his exceptional technique and artistry through numerous culinary competitions.
Driven by a constant desire to learn and evolve, he later expanded his experience in Ko Samui and Chiang Mai, enriching his approach with new flavors and inspirations. His talent was further confirmed with a victory in the prestigious Iron Chef Thailand competition, establishing him as a true culinary master. In January 2024, Chef Mit returned to Phuket to continue his professional journey with the same dedication, creativity, and passion, joining the team at Amatara Welleisure Resort.
