I love offering a practice that brings us fully into the present moment. My intention is to create a safe space where everyone can connect with their own body and individual needs. When trust is present, the body can soften, open, and explore a deeper awareness of self and surroundings.
My name is Mona Sveum, and I have been teaching yoga in my studio in Lofoten for the past 11 years. For me, stepping onto the yoga mat — or into any yoga space — is an invitation to turn inward and explore the landscapes within. It offers a chance to release the wandering mind and stay attentive to the body, movement, breath sensations, and the support of the ground beneath us.
Practicing outdoors in the expansive nature of Lofoten adds another layer of connection, bringing us even closer to the environment and to life as it unfolds.
