As the Wild Food lead at 42 Acres, Molly Armstrong brings a deep knowledge of edible landscapes, foraged ingredients, and the art of working in harmony with nature. Her experience spans both progressive and ancient growing methods, alongside hands-on wild-tending practices that support more sustainable and nutrient-dense harvests. A particular passion of hers is the cultivation of edible and medicinal mushrooms outdoors, an approach she values for its quality, resilience, and connection to the land.
Molly enjoys guiding guests across the estate, sharing practical insight into how to forage safely and sustainably while building confidence in the natural abundance around them. She also leads the Wild Crafting experience, where participants create beautiful pieces using flowers, foliage, and willow. Seasonal wreath-making is one of her favourite moments of the year, offering a creative and grounding way to engage with the changing rhythms of the landscape.
