Moisés and Naomi share a deep devotion to sacred medicinal plants and trees, dedicating their lives and work to the many plant diet experiences of the Amazon. Together, they create a safe, loving space for transformation, offering guidance with care, presence, and heart.
Their path is rooted in gratitude for the opportunity to serve and in a commitment to building a shared vision of healing and consciousness. They work to bridge the Western world with ancient Indigenous Peruvian knowledge, honoring traditions while responding to the needs of those who come to them. Their service is also a way of giving back to Mother Nature and protecting ancestral wisdom.
Moisés carries a joyful spirit and a sincere devotion to serving others through the medicine. With a warm smile and an open heart, he has devoted his life to being a vessel for Great Spirit and the sacred medicines of the Peruvian Amazon. He comes from the Cocama Mestizo lineage and has spent decades in training, continuing to deepen his practice and understanding.
He is a gifted shamanic coach and curandero, known as well for his musical talent. During ceremony, he channels icaros with the support of his plant allies. As the founder of Madre Selva Resort, he lives the vision of harmony and unity with nature and all living beings.
Born in Flor de Punga, near Iquitos, Peru, Moisés grew up with a profound understanding of the Amazon rainforest, often described as the world’s largest natural pharmacy. His mother’s shamanic background, along with family members in the Cocama lineage, shaped his early life. He later trained as a visionary artist at the Usko Ayar Amazon School of Painting under Shaman and Artist Pablo Amaringo, developing a way of seeing the natural world through both heart and imagination.
Drawn by the call of the jungle, he deepened his plant medicine path with respected maestros and curanderos. This journey eventually led to the creation of Madre Selva Resort, a center dedicated to art, healing, and service. Through his art, ceremonies, and music, and together with Naomi, he shares the world of Amazonian plant medicine while continuing their full-time work at the center.
Naomi brings radiance and strength through her medicine, balancing feminine power with the divine masculine. As a devoted student of sacred Amazonian medicines, she has spent many years following the path of Noya Rao. With humility and dedication, she trained within both the Shipibo and Huni Kuin traditions, learning to carry her own medicine and to serve with safety and love.
She holds a strong musical presence in ceremony and cares deeply for the well-being of every participant, as well as for the center and the natural world around it.
From a young age, Naomi felt a strong pull toward spirituality and came to understand the importance of self-healing. Through her own healing journey, she found a deeper connection with the sacred medicines of Mother Nature. As she continued studying and working with the Amazon medicines, she discovered new ways of relating to life and expressing herself through art, guided by the plants into sacred channelings.
Following her heart’s call to fully dedicate herself to the sacred medicines, Naomi became a vessel for sharing the energy of the plants in ceremony. She has trained for many years in facilitation within the Shipibo and Huni Kuin lineages and continues to study, deepen her connection through plant diet, and share what she learns.
Naomi and Moisés met while facilitating medicine at retreats, bringing together their love and shared vision. She later moved to Peru, where they work side by side in balancing the divine feminine and masculine. They feel honored to be called by the plants to serve and to witness the growth of those they work with, guided by the belief that love is the most powerful medicine we carry within us.
